I, too was thinking Tampa could be in play for Hall. I think Sergachev for Hall straight up would be amazing, but Tampa is def. gonna need some cap relief in order to extend Hall (or maybe Sergachev, for that matter). I think they'd prefer Mirco over Carrick though. Mirco is better defensively, especially as a 3rd pair or 7th D. I would def. do this trade from a Devils perspective. I don't know if Tampa would. Trading a future top pair D for anyone 28 years old is tough.

see what you mean from tampa's perspective. imo hall is easily a 100+ point player on tampa so sergachev alone is not nearly enough
