A trade for Hall will look something along the lines of 2020 1st + Kylington + Frolik as the base maybe MEP as well. NJ would probably have to retain 1.5-2M though

I have no problem with that trade. But Calgary needs to dump the steaming pile called Lucic. Was not happy with the Neal signing, but nearly puked with the trade for Lucic. ?

Doubt hes traded, IMO besides his suspension hes been a pure upgrade on Neal for us. Flames needed toughness, we got bullied and relying on Bennett for that last year was not enough. Trading for Looch was damage control on the Neal signing, he was never a fit for the team and the only thing wrong with Lucic is that he is overpaid (significantly).

I don't argue that Lucic is more useful than Neal, but his contract is awful and buyout proof. I doubt he goes anywhere unfortunately and we are stuck with it. I can see him being buried in the AHL as early as next year however.
