Description

Melker Karlsson a throw in rental to make salary work.

2nd instead of a 2021 1st, since Gambrell is their Top Prospect.

Both teams get a UFA forward that will likely be gone after this Season.

Both teams get a cost controlled Prospect for multiple Seasons.

Salary retention on the better Forward gets the Rangers a pick, but not a 1st since Gambrell is highly regarded.

i respectfully disagree. a late second round pick and a c- prospect for kreider and Lindgren would be very upsetting. to me, Lindgren is worth keeping. if the sharks make a deal with the nyr they have to give up a 1st for kreider.

It's understood that Karlsson is a bottom line player. Only required to balance the Cap. I guess they trade then hinges on what you think of Gambrell as a potential player. Some think he has real potential, while I guess others don't. Perhaps insist on the 1st or remove Lindgren, in that case.

No need to include Lindgren. Either get a 2020 1st rounder at deadline or extension for no more than 5 yrs (highly unlikely).
