When did Connor last play centre, at Michigan? And I think he still played wing there, so I’m pretty sure he will be playing on the wing this year.

I think the Copp, Perrault, and wheeler should be the only guys shifting to center.

My point exactly. Why has he not been tried at Center. Jets have too many top 6 wingers.
He has the hockey IQ. Speed to burn to come down low to support the def. on breakouts. Plus catchup to Ehlers thru the neutral zone for Laine the trailer in the offensive zone. There is nothing else out there coming that would have the dynamic ability. Try to build from within. The. See if Roslovic is the better option later in the year.

Copp. Copp plays a possession style game. Excels at cycle and roll down deep. Neither Ehlers nor Laine play that style of game yet. Yet to see a one player cycle work.
Perreault. Not going to be around for much longer at salary at depth position on the team.
Wheeler. Performed admirably at Center... though would breakdown too fast if had to play that position for a sustained period of time. Likely never see that again.
Little. Little has played his best with powerful wingers.(Wheeler, Ladd). Hangs back in offensive zone. Unfortunately so does Laine. 2 Fwds hanging back in the offensive zone too easy for opposition to breakout.
Roslovic. Waiting and waiting and waiting. Would like to see offensively.. though has struggled at getting puck out of def zone when at Center. Seems to get hemmed in. Think why he is spending so much time on wing. Hopefully learning.
