Im sure Edmonton is dying to trade Puljujarvi for that garbage

Never knew Puljujarvi is the dfference between bust and Cup, Even at that the Oilers decline.

If I am the Oilers, I take any trade that involves a player who is NHL ready and a pick. It's that or have Puljujarvi not play for your team and you get NOTHING for him. Also the Leafs roster is already borderline elite (or already elite) and adding one player who is as dynamic as Puljujarvi (he was drafted in the top 5 for a reason) then it can be the difference between cup or bust

?????What Puljujarvi is under Oilers NHL control for at least four more years. In effect you have traded him to the Leafs for a 4th rounder and Marlie, a 24 year old AHLer, who the Marlies refused to play in the AHL playoffs.

Can't think of any team who would give any significant for him. Oilers probably like him going to back to Finland for a year, to get healthy and get his on ice confidence back. Best trade for all parties is probably no trade.
