no no no no no no, please stop with this ****. Fluery is worth so much more an a bench warmer. I rather get some water bottles than Yakupov. Why would we trade 3 core guys for basically nothing? we wouldn't. don't care if it's messing around. that's awful.....

Fleury isn't worth anything, especially with the expansion draft coming, if he's traded, he is traded for cheap. His contract sucks anyways, as he doesn't play up to how much he earns

All 3 of those guys are leaving for nothing after next season anyway so I figured I'd get some value and free up cap space to bring in some more firepower. Fleury's presence on the roster is a serious problem beyond this season so if deadline day comes and the choice is trade him for actual water bottles or keep him and leave Murray unprotected for Vegas, then give me the water bottles any day. Yakupov is still a pipe dream for a 5.75M backup goalie. Murray is the future, and also the present. Kunitz and Fehr were just examples of me "messing around" and swapping out big contracts to bring in some UFAs.

Isn't worth anything? I'm pretty sure he's a top 10 goalie in the league and has won two Stanley Cups. But I guess he sucks? He does play up to how much he earns. The ONLY REASON he didn't play in the Playoffs was because he had his THIRD concussion of the year and Murray was playing phenomenal. He wasn't even supposed to play the one game he started. The doctor advised him not to. But I guess he sucks now because he has two Stanley Cup rings in his ears. Blow smoke out your ass kid, you probably think getting Dion Phaneuf was a good trade for the god awful Senators. You probably think Andrew Hammond is the next Carey Price.

ok so if you're worried about them getting taken in the expansion, then why sign Demers to a 4 year deal, he'll be exposed, and if he isn't then someone else is? I just don't get why you'd sign him because Kunitz, Fehr and Fluery would be taken. A new team would most likely pass on Kunitz. higly doubt some one would take Fehr, unless it's for his experience.

I wasn't necessarily implying that Kunitz would get taken in an expansion draft, just that his contract was going to be up and getting a pick for him wouldn't be the worst idea. I could see Vegas team taking Fehr but I just moved him because I wanted to shake things up for the heck of it. If Demers is exposed than so be it. Maybe I should have gone with a 2 year contract. The only thing I'm really adamant about is moving Fleury before next offseason.
