Meloche is supposed to have top 4 upside. Looking like an offensively minded defenseman. We have 13 nhl forwards who should be playing everyday and a need to clear cap.

Various reports from Colorado fans. Ive studied game tape on him, he has raw talent but plays little defense. Needs to get stronger and smarter in the defensive zone. Btw playing in the ECHL doesnt make a player bad, just means they need a slightly lower level to develop more.

Statistically speaking, your odds are much lower of making the NHL when you spend time in the ECHL. Especially for positions other than goalie.
