Flames decline

Flames are one of the few teams that could use some depth at D IMO and afford it. They could get Bogo for 1 season at his current cap hit, and give up a 32 year old veteran center (where they are deep at) seems like a smart move to me. Not too many moves the Sabres can make to warrant trading Bogosian, and it took me a while to find one that could work. I'm guessing this trade probably wouldn't go down for real, but it's not far fetched at all.

Flames only need a >1k spare tire defense. There are more than enough of then still available on UFA and if we need we will trade frolik and get a defense back. Ryan will not be traded for a player not starting

Calgary doesn't have cap space.
