I’m literally gonna do nothing with this ACGM...it’s just gonna be an outlet for myself and @BrandonDubinskyGOAT to ask random questions comparing players and what not without bothering others. The mass mentions might have gotten a bit much but this is better than jumping into random threads.

I want to ask, what do you think of James Neal? How would you rate him in his prime out of 99?

I’d probably have him at an 86...one of the more consistent 20 goal scorers of this era.

I agree, though I think he’s actually rated 88 in NHL15, great goal scorer but he also had some good hands and speed. What is your opinion on Conor Sheary and what is the highest rating he should get?

Sheary and Rust should both be 82 overalls. You doing some sort of all time roster...?

Yeah I plan to do all time rosters for all the NHL teams and national teams. Right now I am planning to finish up the current rosters.

Eric Staal was unreal in his prime but went unnoticed on a Carolina team that was only relevant from 06-09. I’d rate him an 89 overall.

I agree, he was excellent. I think NHL 15 has him rated at 91 or 92. What about Zach Parise, what'd you think of him?

Probably an 87 overall...was a decent two way player with 30 goal talent. Will forever be disappointed that he chose Minnesota over Pittsburgh.

Yeah he was a solid player. I think he even hit 45 goals on one occasion. Can't really blame him for choosing Minnesota, it is his home after all. Though imagine if he played on Sid's left wing in 2013. Parise-Crosby and Malkin-Neal. What a duo that would've been. Do you believe Guentzel is better than peak Parise?

I think that’s an interesting debate...Parise obviously had more clout than Guentzel does due to the first round status and JP Parise being his father but outside of that I think they’re pretty comparable. Both are the same size and have similar attributes but I’ll say Jake will be better than Parise at his peak because of the fact that Jake has one hell of a supporting cast around him.

Yeah I agree, Guentzel has excellent hockey sense and shooting. Who would you say has done better so far between Guentzel and DeBrincat?

Probably DeBrincat but we need to keep in mind that Guentzel had 90 points between the AHL and NHL in the 2017 season and that doesn’t even factor in the playoff that he had.

Yeah Guentzel was absolutely unreal. Can't believe he was only a third-round pick. Now I want to ask about Marian Gaborik, how highly would you rate him based off the time of his peak?

Gáborík was prob a 90 in his prime...was an elite goal scorer in the Minnesota days.
