Agreed. Demers is the guy I'd like to see the Bruins go after. Fills a serious need, is just entering his prime, right shot. If you can get him under 6 million, it's a good deal. Protect Chara, Krug, and Demers for Expansion draft, and then see where you're at after that happens. Go into free agency to see the price on Shattenkirk (assuming he makes it). If you don't land him, we are literally going to look at the same d-core as last year. A D-core with a Right side of Colin, Kevan, and McQuaid will be the worst thing iced in some time.
