Following the Marleau trade. IMO Boston seriously needs to consider making a move like this. 1st round picks are tough to lose but this teams window is closing faster than they can keep it open, using Backes cap to try to upgrade the team however possible is again, IMO, the smartest move.

Rask needs a new deal in 2 years and will most likely start declining..

A core of McAvoy, Carlo, Pasta, Debrusk, Heinen + whatever prospects is not going to win ANYTHING and I can guarantee you that

Now is the best opportunity, the window is closing FAST every year.
