I’ve looked at options around the league for 45 minutes now and trocheck is the only guy I can find that makes sense and seems to be within reach. I’m no Florida fan so I have no idea what his value actually is after an off year and a bad injury, but, I looked at ur lineup and areas where u may need some help. I see nemo (or strome), whichever one you want sliding in on that second line on the right wing, a spot where owen tippet would slot in at the moment and he may not be ready for that yet. So obviously I base the deal off namestnikov he is the base of this deal but clearly a lot more has to be added. Rykov in my eyes is a future top 4 defenseman but he can slot in next year as a 5-6 defenseman no problem and Florida a solidified roster. After that it still isn’t enoigh for a guy like vinny so a first has to be added, and if he ends up having a year like he is capable of that additional second will turn into a first. Now in my eyes Florida fans that’s more than enough for vinny after this year, which is a why that Beleskey contract which would probably be worth around mid round pick to get rid of is added and he’s still an okay player and could give depth to that 4th line if an injury comes up. As for the rangers, ya chytil Kravtsov Andersson are great but not ready for that role yet, and when they are Kreider can be moved and trocheck can move to the wing. Trust me if an armchair gm guy was trying to steal one of our top guys from us I’d be rattled to and trochek is a guy I really like. Plz let me know how far off this is! Also if the second line Center spot becomes an issue, even tho I don’t think it will be, you could trade a second rounder for a prettyyyy solid rental Center.
As for CBJ they have the cap and need that starting goalie and Georgiev can be so why not?

53, 54, 75 pts in three straight seasons and he was at a 50 point pace this past year coming off an injury. That's consistent. He just turned 26.

Not really. Their stats are pretty close. Duchene has 3 seasons that are good and like 7 that’s are pretty average.

Find me a 2C not on an ELC with those stats and better contract. Florida just gave 10 mill to a goalie, why would they trade their 2C? They're all in - the only way you pry him from Florida is if you overpay, you have to give Florida incentive to trade him. you're still missing the point that "fair" isn't going to get a 2c from a team that is all in to win the cup in the next 3 years while Barkov, Trocheck, Huberdeau are on bargain contracts.

And why trade for a 2c rental when it will cost more than 5 mil to resign them. It doesn’t help the win now. That’s what me and isles777 are getting at. You’re not offering enough for a really good player.

Florida doesn’t need to trade for a rental 2C because they already have a 2C who is better than any rental out there. Florida’s priority isn’t to help the rangers find a 2C

The only rental out there comparable to trocheck is Brayden schenn. To get him it would take a 1st and a good prospect so it just defeats the point of trading trocheck in the first place lol

Tampa could afford to trade Tyler Johnson since they have point and stamkos at center. But they have different needs. They would probably want kreider, deangelo and a 1st for Johnson and a 3rd IMO
