A realililistic subban trade is no trade at all. Hes one of the best defenseman in the world and any trade is one MTL would be losing. I hate to say it but I think his race has something to do with why he is not on Canadian teams and why MTL isnt in love with him.. Hes right up there with Karlson and Doughty IMO. If someone reported Doughty or Karlson or Letang was being shopped, or even the phone was being picked up on calls regarding them, the reporter would lose all credibility. Also, He seems like a good guy, all the work he does for charity with kids and all kinds of organizations.

Strips Edmonton of size up the middle.
There'll be a lack of depth on the right side.

It's also a terrible trade for Montreal because it's an underpay.
