Well, Lou has been known to make make strange decisions. Like give me 3 years of Uncle Leo, Give me Matt Martin. Plus he signed Marleau, Zaitsev for anchor contracts. I see no reason why he would not add to his long line of rather bad moves.

Every GM makes bad moves, and Martin wasn't even a bad move. He doesn't score much, but that's not all he does. And it wasn't a great contract, but they only had to give up McAdam, and the contract isn't too bad (2.5M i believe). Maybe those signings with Toronto had to do with the rest of the management as much as it did him. So, i guess the Leafs could trade Dermott to the Islanders for Boychuk lol.

He didn’t sign clutterbuck or cizikas (who had 20 goals as a 4th line center) but it seems like you have a personal problem with him and lack the EQ to look at anything regarding the islanders objectively

Funny you mention that since most of my suggestions are better than yours, sure I get them wrong but at least I am not destroying the cap space in players who are not worth it.
