Im not saying it is a bad proposal. But as far as the Colorado trade goes, most GMs don't aquire a player just to flip him like that. Maybe if a team is rebuilding they make moves like that but Colorado isn't.

I am sure Carolina would want to take on all that salary after forking up all of that money for Aho. The team you built is awesome, but there is no way either team would except those deals.

no not typically....but if they struggle to sign him, they might have no choice. they have to sign rantanen, but they do have 27 mil in cap space...rantanen will no doubt get them to the floor, but rust imo is an upgrade for them over burky and he is already signed.
