You know Gardiner is getting 7 or close to 7 right?

Gardiner won't be worth the cost in FA. and paying wideman is an absolute joke. He's an AHL caliber player.

It’s either him or McQuaid but Wideman is younger. I guess it would be better if we could acquire McQuaid but for like 2-3 years. If Gardiner is asking for a bigger price, then. I don’t know if we can give him that. He hasn’t exactly been worth that price on the Leafs especially if he chokes in the playoffs.

I updated it and decided 6 years at 6.67 mil. Around that range. Also decided to get McQuaid for a couple years to teach and help Ghule. It would be a little expensive but this might be worth it.
