Vegas gets another guy who can potentially be an actual #1 D-man since they got a bunch of #4's at best if that smile... Maybe if they keep throwing minimal money at these guys one of them will pan out for like 2 goals 10 assists like Engellend gave them smile.

I'm glad to see him get a fair chance. He was buried on Anaheim's depth chart behind Fowler, Lindholm, Guhle, Larsson and Mahura.

Good he has a pretty open path w/ Vegas having nothing secure on the blue line... HOldin or so was healthy scratch like 2 weeks or longer... Other guys will be lucky if they are still in NHL in another 3-5 years besides McNabb who is probably their best value left... I was kinda hoping they would sign Heed over Sharks but that is life wink...

Heed is this year's Dylan Demelo -- a guy no one paid sufficient attention to. I wanted him for my two main teams (Anaheim and Toronto) because they were both so hopelessly weak at RD. However, Kyle Dubas has taken some pretty good steps to cure the Maple Leafs' problem there.

Yeah I'm still stunned they got Kerfoot/Barrie who I think are both best players involved in that trade... Heed is guy I watched for a few years expecting him to breakout a bit more... I'm a bit surprised he stayed w/ Sharks since other teams I think he had better chances... I remember when I liked Wideman who had like 5 goals as right D-man on Senators but they took MEthot instead smile. Maple Leafs must figure if they had a better defense they get past Boston into Cup... Blues had better defense than Boston who I picked to make cup... I was 100% in EAst but figured Sharks would Win Cup over Boston... Blues were my only mistake picking having JEts lose to them then Stars who I thought would have beat JEts to face Sharks in WCF smile.
