He did well in Buffalo while Hasek and Miller were his GK.
He never knew how to build a checking line (other than the few years Regier was able to sign Mike Grier).
He thought every one should be a mini Lindy, Ruff and Tuff, but not talented beyond that (Peca is a perfect example, before any Buffalo fan says I am crazy check this out, in 3 playoff series with the Islanders he had ONE point. No talent, but he played Ruff and Tuff.).
He had his pets and over played average players who he liked.
He called out poor performance in a post game press conference before analyzing to determine if there were reasons for mis plays.
I cheered when he was fired, I wish it was done sooner.
Maybe the Rangers are keeping him to make sure they get good picks while they are rebuilding.
