But he just did, it's amazing what can happen in the make belief world of capfriendly. But actually that's a totally fair trade for both Teams

You definitely live in a make believe world if you think that is even remotely fair for CBJ

Columbus is possibly losing all or most of Duchesne, Dzingel, Panarin, Bob... and they have no picks to trade. Marner is worth way more than Jones by every metric, and while Zaitsev is a $3m player given his role on the Leafs, he did have a good post-season playing with Muzzin. I see Zaitsev as less of a salary dump and more of a hole-filler for CBJ. Even if one were to exclude Z in the trade, it's still worth exploring for both teams.
