Nylander wont be NHL ready this year, Fasching likely needs time in Rochester and probably Nelson too. INO, no need to resign Lieuwen as Ullmark and Kasdorf will be with the Amerks.

I've seen interest in Franson from other fanbases. I don't know how GMs feel, obviously; but for some reason he seems to have value to some hockey-knowledgeable people.

I could definitely see Nelson in Rochester next year, but if they get rid of Franson I'm not sure who'd be the reserve D-man. Guhle is just as likely to need some seasoning. I agree Nylander (should he be the pick) could be a year or two out still. I think Fasching is ready for a role in the bottom 6.

I think the Sabres could re-sign Lieuwen as insurance depth for a Lehner injury. Makarov has already omitted himself.
