Before people attack this, let me explain.

None of us know what Puljujarvi's trade vale is. We don't even know what Edmonton is actually asking for. In 111 Games, he has 29 points. He hasn't looked particularly great either.

The point of this trade is a swap of players that had great potential, but can use a change of scenery. Zboril looks like he can at least be a third pairing dman, his ceiling is still in question. Senyshyn looks like he'll get more NHL action next season. If Boston is still offering "too little", then add Bjork instead of Senyshyn. or Lauzon instead of Zboril (Lauzon looks like he has more upside)

So we shouldn't look at this trade as "not enough" for Pulijujarvi. 29 points in 111 games says a lot especially playing on a team with McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH. Don't look at Pulijujarvi's potential when looking at this offer.

Honestly, he'll be great on a team where hockey isn't the sole focus of the city's sports fans.

Apparently, he's a deer in the headlights with how critical fans and the media are in Edmonton.

Boston is a fantastic sports city, but with the Pats, Red Sox, Celtics, hockey isn't exactly number 1.
Over here we have no other real big league team besides the Eskimos of the CFL and even theyre nowhere close to the attention the Oilers attract.

That being said, we definitely mismanaged this guy, and for a high level prospect of his calibre, I've no doubt he will flourish someplace else that has the depth to develop him properly.

In the end, Boston gets a top tier prospect that needs development, Edm get's 2 solid prospects back.

Carolina is best fit. Put him on a line with U20 linemate Aho and Turbo. He’ll flourish.

If he gets 6+ years his AAV will be above 8. That’s how it is with young franchise players now.

Well we will see about that. Like I said, he has yet to play a full season. I don't think 7 million is that unrealistic, but 8 million would be a bad deal. He's my favorite dman in the league, but yet to have a 40 point season shouldn't warrant 8 million.

Yea I don’t necessarily think they should do it yet, but apparently he made it clear that he would want that kind of money on a long term deal. Which is why the bruins want to bridge him for less money

63 and 54 games played in his first two seasons. There's no denying his talent but he has to stay healthy. He could realistically take a bridge deal or less money.
