Kreider's a solid 20 goal scorer but that's about all i can say

if he hit 30 a couple times and 50+ point player 25 years old or younger then sure you'd get a better return
but he's not and at 28 i think this is your best option as you're getting back a solid defensive player who's shown signs of dominant offense
when playing along side Galchenyuk and Gallagher . (generally we use him to cover new Centers weak defensive plays like Galchenyuk , Drouin and Kotkanemi to date )

Prospect + 2nd + 3rd is the value for a 1 year rental. Not asking for him to be extended. Could add condition based on Kreider extending.

even as a pure rental , and this hurts to say as a MTL fan who passed over him in the draft for Louis Leblanc
but Krieders worth a 1st round pick as is . i think you're value would be find if you were offering a Prospect with NHL experience like i did

Fleury ,1st and a 3rd for Krieder makes sense .
like Lehkonen , Fleury's been passed in the depth chart by guys drafted after him.
its not to say he's bad but more so to say CAR drafting staff has been on the money the past few years creating a ton of depth.

NYR gets more LD depth and a player they could give to Seattle is things dont work out and still have a late 1st and a 3rd to draft with.
CAR gets a legit 20 goal scorer with Size who knows how to use is in the playoffs without giving up to much more then a D in their depth chart and some late picks .
if it makes you more comfortable make it a conditional 2nd saying if Krieder and CAR make a ECF it becomes a 1st

then you're looking at value for all
