I actually am a Habs fan, but believe or not you can like shaw and still think that this team gets better without him. The guy has a $3.9 mill cap hit, just had a career year, but is 28, has three years left is and not likely to get better

On 82 games he got a 60+ points season. Like Kopitar Barzal Nyquist etc. He’s worth a 2nd + B-B+ prospect

Basically the Shaw move I made was just to clear cap space as opposed to an actual representation of what his value might be. If you asked me two weeks ago, I would say he may be worth a 2d and a prospect. But after the jt miller trade, nothing makes sense to me anymore the world is chaos.
