I'm not sure. Marchand is an elite winger despite people hating on him. Trouba is a top 4 right now but not top 2. Connor has potential but he's not played an NHL game. I would say it's pretty close.

Also I'd be looking more at his Spooner for Brodin as the one that's no where near. Brodin is legit and Spooner is a 3rd line center.

Kyle connor has way more value than McQuaid not even playing in the nhl, he was a 1st rounder....McQuaid is a bottom pair d man that is way overpaid.
Marchand great top 6 guy but he has one year left and is going to want 7mil next season. They'll need to give up more for a potential top pair d man like Trouba + connor
