Tavares because everyone wants him
Of course it could be done next year cap wise but being a GM you gotta think of the future and whilst Tavares would probably come to Boston and we could do it cap wise initially, in the 2nd year we'd have no space to resign all our young players such as McAvoy, Carlo who will contribute an extra 10+million to the cap and would require the Bruins to trade Backes or Krug that following year. Which wouldn't be easy on the former and I really think they love Krug a lot. Plus Chara would be leaving so who's on your left D? some unproven young guys. I dunno I'd freaking love Tavares but long term it wouldn't work.

2018 stanley cup champion bruins
This indeed would be a contending team next year. Legit D. Good scoring options. However Toronto could get more than that for JVR. Probably a top 4 D in return. Not a B prospect and a failing grinder, would they trade within the division too? Doubt it. Look for the NYI to go for JVR. Also can I ask why are Calgary trading a 2nd for Nash and Khudobin?

Bruins don't need LHD prospects. Have you seen our LHD Prospects? Probably the best in the league. Go check it out. McAvoy is going to be a legit number 1 D man in a few years. Honestly Bruins would laugh at this trade.

Also don't think this is a 1 star effort. Bit harsh bud. Apart from Hayes what do you disagree with? Have you seen some of the **** on this site lol?

It might happen if Don can't find a trade. Also you could say that buyout is just me getting him out of the NHL roster cause he's not going to get on the Bruins team anymore.

As much as I like Landeskog.. Come on dude this is ridiculous. Also you are giving away a future top 4 D (Lauzon) a future top 6 F (DeBrusk) and even Jesse Gabrielle is looking like he might be a legit talent. Also this is garbage for Colorado unless they want to tear everything down and do a full rebuild. ALSO WHY DO YOU WANT CARL SODERBERG BACK?

Doubt that would be enough to get Fowler. Senyshyn and Zboril from what I've seen are not going to be an NHL players for at least another 2-3 years. McAvoy might be ready next year same with DeBrusk.. Not a bad team but Fowler and Krug are similar players. Not bad but doubt this will happen.

Marchand is an elite winger despite people hating on him. Trouba is a top 4 right now but not top 2. Connor has potential but he's not played an NHL game. I would say it's pretty close.
Also I'd be looking more at his Spooner for Brodin as the one that's no where near. Brodin is legit and Spooner is a 3rd line center.

Sorry, but "advanced analytics," don't do it for me. The eye test is 10x better. Kevan Miller had better advanced stats than Kulkov, and yet...I would take Kulikov 10x10. If advanced stats are your go-to, please refrain from debating.</i></div></div>
They are not my go-to.. In fact I used to hate them. I agree eye test is a good indicator of quality. However these stats also do paint a picture and NHL teams do use them when deciding for and against getting a player. So they do have use. I like to use both nowadays. I agree Kulikov is better than Miller but that's not hard at all. I just wouldn't give up those assets for him.

Okposo will go to Minnesota. Yandle is possible but last resort I think for the B's, we want a more defensive guy. Plus Krug will be resigned for cheaper and does the same job. Vesey is 50/50 at this point but I'd be more inclined to say he will go to Buffalo. Chara isn't going anywhere he will retire a Bruin at the end of his contract if he continues to slide. Kulikov is borderline top 4. On a good team he should be a 5-6. Way too much to give. Kevan Miller top 2? Awful. Sorry this is a terrible team with pretty bad moves.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div><i>Seems like a lot to give Buf as a rental. Gotta believe the Ducks think Fowler is worth more than a first rounder. Buff - Generally good rentals get a 1st and a prospect. Joe Morrow isn't a high level prospect, he's got pretty low value right now I'd say. Also this would be with the idea that Buff wouldn't be a rental and that the Bruins would resign him to a long contract.
Fowler - I agree he is worth more than a first rounder. They are getting Eriksson. A top 6 forward aswell as that first round pick.
Atkinson - Seidenberg said last year if the Bruins didn't want him anymore he'd waive it. I think he's a respectable guy. He'd probably go.

Trading Eriksson + Byfuglien
I think the trade values are fine. It's just a risk giving up a 1st for Buff when he may not even resign, he's going to want huge money for 6 years and he's never been the fittest of players anyway. Could see huge decline in his play. I'd rather go get a cheaper younger guy like Cam Fowler, Sami Vatanen, Jonas Brodin or Matt Dumba. Even though they don't have the same experience or size of Buff they have great upside. I'm happy to give up Seidenberg, he's not the same guy after that injury. Still a decent player but not the kind of guy we need right now he's hindering the younger players development. The forward group is weaker too. Spooner isn't a winger, Hayes isn't a top 6 and the 4th line is still lightweight. I'd try get some heavier bodies for the 4th line.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div><i>Don't know if Eriksson would warrant a first round pick. Would a team want to take on the ever slowing Chara and his 6.8m a year for 2 years after this? I don't think so. Would rebuilding Edmonton would want soon to be UFA Kelly? Not being a Skinner fan, the Carolina looks OK but think the Canes would want more.
You have the UFA signings Yandle and Byfugulin signing for 2.6m and 5.2 m Try 5.7m and 6.0m Do Boston RFAs not get a raise? Doubt if the Rangers trade Kevin Hayes to Bruins and being an RFA isn't he due for a big raise?
If NMC Chara stays with Boston, the salary cap on existing Bruins certainly goes up. Even without Chara, your numbers just don't add up.</i></div></div>
I didn't sign them via UFA. This wasn't an accurate team via the numbers. It was just built for the names really

To be honest the Chara deal is way too much and I couldn't see that happening unless Columbus are a playoff team come Trade Deadline and even then he'd have to want to leave for Columbus..
Yandle would sign for Boston. He's a Boston Native, who doesn't want to play for their hometown team?
The Ellis trade is very realistic. They don't really need him they have Weber and Jones.

I like your effort but getting a first for Seidenberg? Thats laughable. He's 34 whos had an ACL injury and lost a step. Eberle is not coming I would love it but Pastrnak and Connolly are 19 and 23 respectively still with a lot of potential to be Top 6 forwards. Plus Jimmy Hayes shouldn't be on the 4th line. I like the Franson signing and I believe that's the most realistic thing about this cause I do think we will sign him. Dunno about 4.9m though I'd say around 4.2-4.5m for 3-4 years.
