If Toffoli was non-existent during the season and didn't get any scoring chances, then I might agree that it was time to move him for whatever they could get, but he still consistently created high-quality chances and hit an unreal number of goalposts and hot goalies. He had like 3 goals reversed due to offside challenges as well.

The Kings would rather trade Toffoli to someone for a 2nd round pick instead of two near-worthless prospects.
