Where did you read Bowman doesn't want anything over 3 years in regards to free agents?

Lee has 5 years at 7m on the table from the Isles, he wants 6-7 years.

Carolina has been pretty forward that Pesce is not available. Also, given the fact that the Hawks have Beaudin, Boqvist and Mitchell ready in the next year, why bring in another high paid D guy after Matta...especially on the right? Next year we will have Murphy, Jokiharju, Seabs (he's not going anywhere), Mitchell and Boqvist....kind of a problem no?

I didn't hear him say he wants to avoid it, heard him say they are looking at some trade partners but this was of course before the draft; I would be careful about taking that out of context as free agency really begins post draft.

I found the article, they were saying "a source" says the Hawks are more focused on trades early this week. The rest is opinion/speculation.
