I like ghost but that's a lot to give up for him. Plus it clogs another d spot for the prospects that should come up in the next 2 years.

Ghost is cost controlled, plus I think Gus is a UFA Philly would need Beaudin back (we have a log jam of young D men) Saad is the solid wing that we will need to be gone in order to resign DeBrincat and Strome next season. It's a glorified cap dump where both teams benefit. It's definitely a move to make things easier heading into next season.

Philly can't afford this. Have to sign Provorov, Konecny and Sanheim. Saad just wouldn't fit.
