Description
A team iced of only Blackhawks salary cap casualties and trades over the recent years. *sigh*

Side note: this is assuming Shaw, and Ladd are not re-signed this offseason. Let me know if I'm missing anybody. Would this team make the playoffs? i think so.

I disagree. I think this team definitely makes the playoffs.
Kind of funny that the Hawks casualties are $18 million over the cap and so many Hawks fans grumble when players are moved - as if Bowman could somehow resign all of these guys and stay under the cap.

You included players that left as UFAs, including clear rentals. These aren't "cap casualties" per se. Should remove: Richards, Vermette, Flash, Weise, Stahlberg, and Oduya. Leave Ladd ONLY because of the first trade to Atlanta, not because of his recent stint which he will leave as a UFA. Shaw hasn't gone anywhere yet so remove him. Daley, Brouewer, Pirri, Olsen, Nilsson were all "hockey trades" or otherwise trades requested by the players - not "cap relief" trades. Niemi was offer sheeted, but I guess leave him in because it would have not been cap friendly to match the offer sheet (or wise).
