A win for both teams as TO is looking to move Kadri and Sparks and Wsh is looking to move Bura and Johansen as the odd man out in Hershey and a former 1st round pick with value. Bura still has untapped potential that can help by playing in the top 6 with either Tavares or Matthews on the Left replacing marleau at a much cheaper cost alongside Andreas Johnsson. Copley can replace sparks and can be a competent backup for years to come solidifying that spot on the leafs roster as well. The idea is to move Kuzy to the wing where he has more freedom from defensive duties and wont need to take faceoffs anymore. Moving Vrana to his offside will help as well because he shoots more on average than kuznetsov does. Sparks will either be flipped or will come up in case of injury with Samsonov ready to be the backup. The cap might be problematic but the idea is to resign backstrom and let holtby walk because of the money he will be asking for in FA. Overall I like this trade for both sides.
Also the Idea of Wilson, Kadri, and Gudas on the same team is just George Parros's worst nightmare lmao.
