In Puljujarvi's 3 seasons, he's yet to put up a point rate better than any of Pionk's 2 seasons...Couple that with the potentially recurring hip issues that can really derail a career, I'm failing to see the cap dump for Vesey portion of that trade....

I think the Coloardo trade might actually make sense. It's basically Byram and Jost for like Kreider and Seider. I'd probably prefer Kaut, but it's like fine?

Avs would say no, they won't trade that Ottawa pick. Maybe they would do their own pick plus Jost for Kreider.

From what I've been seeing lately, looks like most mocks have Byram at 3 now. So more likely to be Turcotte, Cozens, Zegras, etc. I don't think Avs make that trade anyway. I think WalterT's trade is more realistic.

Just noticed. I meant to add #16 - COL not #4-OTT. Colorado will not be trading that pick.
But that shifts the balance of the trade the other way. Maybe 2nd rd pick instead of pick 20
