-I’d rather trade Ghost than Myers for Trouba tbh. We probably aren’t re-signing Gudas next offseason and Myers is our only other RD

I know I probably overpaid for Trouba but I wanted to make sure that the Jets got a more NHL ready defender in the trade.
Edit: I would have a lot of interest in Ghost. I thought before this year he primarily played RD though. I have actually wondered if the switch would've contributed to his stats dropping.

This is bold and I like it.

I think it fits our team needs really well. We get a first round pick and an NHL ready defender that can be a top four dman long term. I also like that he's on the right side. When Buff starts to decline in a few years we may have a lot of question marks on the right.
