Trouba and Zucker trades are the right value. But would rather deal Howden than Lias. Not a fan of the Shatty deal. It's gotta be a priority to move Staal off the team...

Yeah I know you value Lias more than Howden (I'm the opposite - but either one wouldn't be a deal breaker for me). I agree that Staal (and Smith) should be the first to go but I think Shatty has more value than either of them and will be easier to move with $$$ retained.

Obviously you try and get rid of all the bad stuff but outside of a buyout Staal imo isn't going anywhere. It would be interesting to see if they can trade Smith.

yeah not if he's getting playing time. Only way to do it would be to bench him and force him to accept trade....
