I struggle to see how this team is better than the current Winnipeg team

Simple, getting cancers out of the room and giving young players a chance.

Cancers like Wheeler, Byfuglien, Little and Perreault? In my opinion, Wheeler is one of the only untouchables on Winnipeg, he's a top 10 players in the NHL IMO. Also look at this year's finalists, they're both loaded with veteran players who are winners as supposed to young players who were given a chance.

Another thing you have to look at is cap. Their are few to many overpaid players on this team and the problems they had this year go deeper than what meets the eye.

I think it's sad that Jets fans are in such a state that you need to clarify the fact that you're not being serious. lol

I actually like the first 4 trades.... I think you have to keep Wheeler and Byfuglien. Wheeler is an elite passer... he will be difficult to replace... and that d-core is terrifying.

Wheeler and Buff yes, Perreault and Little no.

Those teams veterans are good guys though and dont treat young players like garbage. Also those veterans have playoff experience, the Jets veterans have very little playoff experience.

Honestly I think it’s a better defensive corps. Buff, Myers, and Kulikov are not good enough in their own zone.

It seems like an awful stretch to Thrust Niku into a shutdown pair position in his first full year as a jet. If It's me, I'm keeping Buff... putting Severson with Morrissey, Buff with Beaulieu, and then Niku and Poolman/Morrow. Give Niku PP time to offset the minutes.
