1. Panthers trade based on Q-Keith connection and Panthers already having 2 top 6 centers, so that Borgstrom is expendable.
2. Caps have severe cap issues. Vrana is tough to give up, but in exchange they get the #43 pick, a cheap forward who still has strong upside, and a low-cost banger.
3. Carolina gets the Hawks forward they've always wanted, while Hawks get a strong young LHD.
4. TB gets the cap relief needed to round out their 2019-20 roster with Point, a young LHD, and a No. 2 pick in 2020. May be a stretch, but it's not essential to this case.
5. Anisimov could go anywhere; get what you can later this summer
6. Overpay for Hainsey, who can play both left and right, as a 1-yr bridge as Bean matures and until Byram shows up.
7. By my calculations this still leaves the Hawks around $80 million in 2020-21 even after paying all their RFAs.
