Vats is in his last year and I could see him resigning in Win., add a conditional pick if he does not resign.

I don't see how that entices the Jets... The whole angle is to acquire either a player with term, or one who is certain to stay (ie. Travis Hamonic)

Its fair value. But i dont think the devils jump at comrie as much as youd think. They have blackwood to protect and schneider to pay. It would basically ensure that schneider isnt taken in expansion. in that case you kind of have to do a different prospect, or re-arange the picks. Although perrault would be nice for the devils, hes a cap dump to you guys. devils will have him plus hughes nico zajac, zacha (and mcleod). plus he is a lefty and the devils only have one right handed shot on the roster besides zajac (and mcleod if you count him too).

Whats the incentive for devils trade a good dman who put up 40 points and is signed for 4 more years at 4 million plus two seconds. Trouba is better but he’s gonna expect 7-8 million per plus a 4 million dollar center that puts up 30 points . Doesn’t make much sense. Like the previous poster said how about Vatanen ?
