This team still has 3M$ in cap room (including Alzner’s entire salary) which should just about cover Domi’s raise. As for Hall’s, Mason’s buyout, Peca and Weise will be off the books and just like that you gained another 3M$. The salary cap should raise again, so I don’t see a problem with this structure. Also, the year after, Pavelski would be gone so KK can sign a long term deal.

You mean you think they’re overpaying ? Hall’s a former league MVP + MTL has a lot of depth they can leverage in a trade to acquire superstar talent (which they lack).
