That Winnipeg trade is tilted Such in Habs favour it’s not even funny. Brutal trade for Winnipeg. Even the Edmonton Trade is bad for Edmonton imo. They don’t need to pay a top 10 pick to move lucic

sure the peg one is one sided, not really if i am trading his rights. a first, a second, and a D prospect is not that far off. Fluery just finished his first season in the AHL on a brutal team.
but good luck trading Lucic for anything less then JP, Benson, Yamo, Bear, Jones or the first round not being added. I am taking his entire 6 million on. I live in Edmonton, if the Oilers said no to this.....man they refuse to get better. Frankly MTL could be losing this trade if you think about it. Lucic is a 20-30 point 6 million guy and you have zero idea when the guy at 8 will be NHL ready. plus it mangles their cap.

15OA; a b- prospect; and a 2nd don’t get you Trouba. But he wouldn’t even resign in MTL so it’s a pointless trade for both teams. Jets could do better and he wouldn’t sign long term with Habs.

As for lucic trade, it’s hard to gage cause a contract THAT bad hasn’t been dumped as far as I can remember. Clarksson for Horton is the only thing that comes close to my memory. It’ll be interesting to see what Edmonton does with him

No I can agree with you on Trouba.
Trouba is just hard to gauge. Is he the 50 point dman he showed this season...or is he the 30 point player he has been since he broke into the NHL?

and Lucic will take one of the following included to move.....the 1st this season, or a 1st next season, Benson, JP, or Yamo to move. He is that bad. If any team takes on the full salary and not getting something close to what I proposed.....that GM should be fired and black balled. Oilers only hope is Chai becomes a GM again and he trades for him.....but even he should now know how dumb he is.

but like i said, after talking with you, I have talked myself out of all these deals. Lucic is just too awful and if you think Trouba will cost more, I dont think MTL should be paying that price. might as well find a dman else where for much much less
