Why would we trade Thompson for Eakin? Just give them second or third round, I think Vegas will be happy to get rid of Eakin given their cap situation and his salary, Haula and Glass are more budget options for 3C, also howl can still play on the wing. If we talk about our composition, that second link looks unproven, the third line is also a bit strange.

I dont think its much of an over pay. Thompson is the only one I'd miss. Also Reaves is positive value for me, so this is a steal for Buffalo

Sheary + Smith and fourth round and that's fair, I wouldn't want to give up Thompson so early, there's a lot of potential there.
