dallas seems more realistic to me than minny for nisky. lovejoy is a cheap rhd replacement. hopefully gmbm will do better than this.

As a DAL fan I'd like to get Niskanen, but I'd imagine that WSH needs to take some salary. Like Comeau, for example. Almost $6M a season for a 2nd pair D seems a tad high.

I actually had Comeau in there at first but the Caps main thing here is a salary dump so not sure it would be worth it for the Capitals and Dallas has no draft picks other than the 1st rounders but maybe something like Comeau and a good LW/RW prospect might get that done...Thanks for the response.

So you traded for Honka, then didn't qualify or sign him. Then on top of that signed Lovejoy, so even if you DID sign Honka, he realistically would have to pass through waivers and play in the AHL.
