Just offersheet him. Drouin is more valuable than a late 1st round pick. Brook is arguably more valuable than a late round pick. If Montreal makes the playoffs each year, even that 15O.A. (2019) pick is more valuable than what we would give up. Offersheet Marner and its cheaper than what this trade is...
