The Arizona trade isn't all that bad... I have no idea what your doing in the Edmonton trade. Pretty confusing on what actually happens there.

Are you insane the Arizona trade is terrible, the 1st and Kapanen could get all that alone, Rielly is a young stud

LOL. The first is basically = to OEL. Kapanen has the lowest value of any prospect listed.

The 1st overall pick can probably get Strome and the 7th alone

K, then Strome +7 = 1. OEL = Rielly + Kadri. and Dvorak = Kapanen + Gautheir. It still works...

Oh, so you're actually genuinely serious about these trades? Lol, Tyler Ennis who is a borderline cap dump for JVR who scores 30 goals per year on the best contract in the NHL...

Also it's going to take a massive overpayment for Toronto to even answer the phone when Arizona is calling.. You can take Rielly, Kadri, and Kapanen out of that trade then Toronto may consider it.
Probably more like Strome, Domi, Dvorak, 7th overall for 1st overall. But Toronto needs to add a top pairing RD so it really doesn't make much sense to deal with Arizona as even OEL is a LD

I like how JVR scores 30 goals a year eventhough hes done it once. His contract used to be good there are now plenty better. It's like you just woke up from a 2-3 year nap. I could even the value out by adding a 2nd from Buf, but the trade is more or less a swapping of non-core pieces who were hurt last year.

Arizona wouldn't offer an insane deal like that. Strome Domi Dvorak and 7th is trolling and unquestionablely overvaluing the top pick. He would have been third last year and thats where Strome went.

I think some T.O fans need to differentiate between "needing an over payment" and " rape" if they are serious about potentially trading the 1st and getting a solid return.

Either way i'm done trying to convince ppl. Ultimately Matthews isn't going anywhere. Chayka is not stupid. A winning product sells better than 1 home town talent anyway. If they want keep people in the seats its simple, win games and with the prospects they are drafting year after year, they will win their fair share.

Just keep Matthews, Leafs fans. He's going to be a heck of a player. Stop trying to think your going to be able to swindle another team into "warp driving" your rebuild into a full cup contender within a year. Shanahan is already killing it in his young tenure as GM, this team will be good all by itself in the not too distant future just doing what they've been doing the past year and half.
