1) Does Turris as a center provide Buffalo with more options than a RW?
2) Trading away Sobotka and Scandella two players who are universally not wanted by nearly every ACGM while bringing in a RHD who could actually add to the Sabres success, you think is a bad idea?
3) Getting a 2nd is a bad idea, and giving the GK job to Ullmark (this may not be the best idea, I will agree)
4) Getting a 1st round pick is a bad thing? Callahan will also provide leadership
Finally, you do not think Lemieux and Blueger would help the team.
Adding another first and second this year (four picks among the top 40 sounds like a good start to rebuild) while adding players who are better than the ones either traded away or in the minors will make the team better.

What is that Scott Darling trade. Hes about to get bought out. Even if you think thats worth moving 31 spots for, he's a massive downgrade and not an NHL goalie right now

That may be a weak trade, but we do move up 31 spots. What do you think is the value of Hutton? Second, Third, Fourth? Moving up those 31 spots is worth about the 45th OA, a mid second. I think that would be a good thing, especially this draft is suppose to be very deep. But I could be wrong, I do not know.

You may be correct about the Darling trade, but moving up 31 spots is pretty good. Moving Hutton alone would never give that big of a return.

I think trading away Sobotka and Scandella for Shattenkirk helps the team.
Getting Turris helps the team.
Adding Lemieux and Blueger helps the team.
Adding 2 picks among the top 40 will help in the future.
Over all the team gives up 3 players that do not fit into their future and 3 lower picks, for better picks and two players who help the team. I think this is a good move.
Maybe there are better moves, but this costs nothing of consequence.

I didn't mind any of the trades really, but nothing is done to adress the goaltending. Even if Ullmark is the starter they need a good back up to lean on as well

Wasnt really the trade that is a big issue just the massive down grade
