What team is gonna give up their first next year for a guy who could play one year and leave. Kreider is basically worth what zucc was worth at this years deadline, Kreider is worth more now because the team could get him for the whole year rather than the end of the season, so zucc got a 2nd and 3rd, Kreider will get that plus a little more since its for the whole year, hence why I included a 4th and 6th, you could make the argument hes worth two 2nds but he wont get a 1st.

Right but Carolina was aware they couldn’t re-sign Skinner so they lost leverage. Not same case with CK

yeah which is why I said you could argue to change that 4th I included to a 2nd or add a prospect but he still wont get a 1st. I Don't think, and I also heard, that no team really wants him without a new contract so the rangers would be going to teams to shop him rather than a team coming to the rangers and asking for him, which means the price will be lower. also Carolina lost leverage with fox and still got two 2nds so I don't know how much leverage actually fits into the price.
