Risto's bad at Buffalo, but that doesn't mean he'll be bad at Anaheim. Don't you understand that we have Lehner was sucks? Entire defense was terrible, ROR lost the love of the game, and now in the final of the conference play. Risto career in Buffalo has not seen a real partner in the pair, and Fowler or Lindholm in Anaheim, it's not Scandella or Beaulieu, plus good coach also decides when Housley we did not have any protection at all. yes and we got absolutely nothing for Lehner and a very underwhelming return for ROR...Anaheims not going to trade their franchise player for a d-man who has struggled mightily his whole career in hopes he is going to somehow turn his entire game around.

I guarantee you the only reason Boterill hasnt traded Risto is because every team realizes how many flaws are in Risto’s game and their trade offers are not good so he hasnt pulled the trigger on a deal

Anaheim already has Lindholm, Fowler and Manson, they are not that desperate for D or they wouldnt have just traded us Montour who is better than Risto anyway

okay so ANA trades us a RHD for a 1st and Guhle then trades w BUF again to get a (possibly) worse RHD than Montour but gives up their #1 Center, a good middle 6 power forward and a 2nd round pick? Makes absolutely no sense. Then they’re going to have to trade one of the D for a new #1 center. Throw in Getzlafs full NMC and this trade proposal is just ridiculous.

They had to expose Shea Theodore who has turned into a real solid player for VGK....if they learn from their mistake they will protect 3 d like every other team which will be Lindholm, Fowler and Manson so they will then lose Risto for nothing...genius

Stop mentioning Getzlaf, I'm not even talking about this deal, it's not my topic as you may have noticed. Montour exchanged not because of the game, but because of some conflict with the leadership and of course after that they left a hole in the composition of the RHD, look for yourself, they have no one except Manson in this position.
