Description
The Connor McDavid Koolaid effect begins. UFA's have some interest in playing with the Oilers with the new direction they're going in. The signing of Demers, and the trading with Carolina gives the Oilers a formidable defence. Their forwards are unreal they get to keep the 4th overall which they use to draft Tkachuck who instead of playing in the minors lands on the wing with McDavid and puts up 15-20G and 40+ points in a respectable first season.

If Faulk was available which I don't think the Canes are going to give away anytime soon you would need to add Reinhart as well, and maybe Yak if they wanted

Seems like an overpayment. Davidson isn't a world beater but he plays defense the right way... something the Oilers highly lack. If they could clone Davidson 5 times they would.
