I don't think the Leafs would offer sheet any player of they lost Marner to an offer. What they would do is solidify their core with longer term and more money. Then starting next year they would get those four first rounders. So while the Leafs don't want to lose Marner, it wouldn't be tragic. The 10.5m that have set aside for him will spent on other player(s,) and they would have the four picks too.
