It'll take quality to get quality. Dumba was on pace for 30 goals this season as a 23 year old top pairing defenseman. I doubt he would have had 30 by the end of the season, but the way he was playing he very easily could have had at least 20. 20 goals is pretty insane for a defenseman, especially one as young as Dumba. He has also made massive strides defensively and looked really good in his own zone and he added the physical game he displayed as a prospect to the NHL level. The sky is the limit for this guy. I like Kapanen, but he doesn't have superstar potential like Dumba does. Liljegren really hasn't looked as good as he was expected to be. That first won't help us for 3-4 years from now and with how impatient Leipold is, I can't see him allowing Fenton to trade for a 2020 first this year. You want a superstar RD? You'll have to give us a superstar forward. Like I said, we wouldn't move Dumba for Nylander this past fall so I can't see us doing it this summer, let alone for two players that don't have Nylander's potential and a pick that doesn't help us for a while.
