I'm fine w/ PK swap with Voracek. Changing Jarnkrok to Palat seems like a lateral move (just looking at last 2 years for the both of em) but will cost significantly more money. Palat seems to always be injured at some point too. Perhaps would skip that trade completely and go for Dzingel instead. Should cost around the same amount of cash as Palat but Dzingel has been trending in the right direction. Also didn't sign Sissons or Grimaldi who will both be signed or traded.

The Devils will be pretty deep at center next season, they'd be more interested in a winger or defensemen at that price.

Palat is too expensive and also has a NTC. I actually have thought about the PK for Voracek deal myself. Not sure if PHI would bite on that. As noted above, Sissons and Grimaldi should be signed as well. Remove the Palat and Jarnkrok trades and Re-sign Sissons and Grimaldi. Plus, the league cap is going up to 83 mil next year, so if you do all of that, you'd have roughly 4 mil to work with. However, if you can trade PK for someone cheaper somewhere else, you may be able to squeeze enough difference to afford Duchene in FA. Especially if you buyout Turris or trade him for more cap space.
