Shattenkirk’s value decreased immensely after multiple seasons where he did not live up to his contract. A good prospect in Bellows and a 1st Rounder won’t be given for him. NYR would be lucky to get a 2nd for him right now. Also, we are not trading with the Islanders, they are rivals.
If you did get Trouba and McAvoy they would most likely want more money. DeAngelo will be looking for 4.5-5 million. Also, Panarin will want the longest deal possible (7 years not 6).

Boston trade isn’t a bad trade honestly, just they won’t trade McAvoy. I have some bad feeling that Gorton finds a way to trade for Carlo this summer since he’s up for a big raise as well. I’m just not sold on Carlo as a top 4 dman in this league.
